Sculpture, spirit of the wind - 18 cm - bronze marble

Art Deco automascot Spirit of the wind. Bronze car mascotte named Victoire, or Spirit of the Wind, after the Lalique design. Amazing bronze bust in Art Deco style showing a male (or perhaps female) head with hair fans at the back, in a wing. In keeping with the pre-war Art Deco preoccupation with aerodynamism and the specific vision of modernity, the figure looks as if it could be in a wind tunnel. The piece embodies Art Deco style and elegance and would be a wonderful addition to any home collection. It would be a truly quirky decorative collectible for your home. The piece sits firmly on a green polished marble base. Will be very well packaged and shipped.
