In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most searched names on the Catawiki platform, a further sign of the growing appreciation for his work. Technique: Resin and marble powder Dimensions: H13 x L15 x D13 cm Condition: new Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Edition: limited edition 100ex A simple, recognizable figure is transformed into something different. The teddy bear, a symbol of affection and protection, keeps its shape but loses its function: it is no longer something to touch or to live with lightly. The surface completely changes the perception of the work. What looks familiar from a distance becomes more distant, almost inaccessible up close. This creates a direct contrast between what we know and what we see. The artwork plays precisely on this tension: on one side it draws you in, on the other it keeps you at bay. In this way, an image tied to childhood is reread in a contemporary key, becoming something more complex and less reassuring. SHIPPING INSURANCE!
