Samovar - Antique Dutch Pewter Coffee Urn /...

Antique Dutch Pewter Coffee Urn (“Kraantjeskan” / “Druppelmina”) — 19th Century An elegant, authentic Dutch pewter coffee urn (a vessel equipped with a tap) dating back to the 19th century, known in the Netherlands as a “Kraantjeskan” or “Druppelmina.” This classic piece of Dutch domestic heritage features a distinctive pear-shaped body, supported by three gracefully curved legs that terminate in wooden (or dark-colored) feet. The vessel is fitted with its original brass tap, positioned slightly above the base to ensure that any coffee or tea sediment remains at the bottom and does not end up in the cup. The set also includes an original triangular stand with an openwork brass rim, as well as an integrated copper (or brass) spirit burner, designed to keep the beverage warm while it sits on the table. The photographs are part of the description. The item will be securely packed for shipping.
