Very attractive rubellite with a strong pink to berry-colored hue and the characteristic, clearly pronounced longitudinal banding of tourmaline. Especially beautiful is the interplay of transparent to translucent areas with the natural internal growth structures, which give the crystal a lot of depth. The partly glossy crystal faces and natural fracture structures create, depending on the light incidence, lively reflections. The intense color remains over large areas of the piece and makes this rubellite a particularly decorative and collectible specimen. Rubellite ranks among the most coveted color varieties of the tourmaline group due to its attractive red and pink tones. In crystal healing, it is traditionally associated with joie de vivre, emotional strength, and heart energy.
