全部拍賣 / Ethnographic / Royal Pittima Taxidermy full body mount - Limosa limosa - 28 cm - 16 cm - 38 cm
Black-tailed Godwit – Limosa limosa Refined and elegant specimen of the Black-tailed Godwit (Limosa limosa) taxidermied with notable attention to anatomical-morphological details. The bird is captured in an upright, proud posture, mounted on a synthetic decorative base with a swamp-rock-like effect that provides excellent stability. Characterized by the long straight bill with an orange-tinted base and a dark tip, typical of this wader species, and by the long, slender legs, perfectly preserved. Features tawny-orange tones on the neck and chest blending into the white of the belly, with the back and wings finely mottled brown. Base shaped to resemble naturalistic rock. A striking piece, ideal for ornithological collections, natural history museums, or as a decorative element for elegant and rustic settings.
