This vintage rare object is a Royal Copenhagen bird bottle opener, designed by the designer Allan Scharff, also known as the "Samfundsfugl" (Community Bird). It is a collectible item and is often sold at auctions and through specialized dealers in Scandinavian design such as Daman Antik in Copenhagen who offers this object for €164,- Allan Scharff (born in 1945) is a Danish silversmith and designer. He worked 16 years for Georg Jensen before founding his own workshop on Sølvgade in Copenhagen. He has made silver objects for various Danish churches. He has also designed ceramics and glass for manufacturers such as Royal Copenhagen, Holmegaard and Orrefors. Dimensions: L 14 cm x W 4 cm x H 4.7 cm Weight: 100 grams This vintage and rare object is in beautiful good pre-owned preserved condition with natural patina of age and use. It is securely packed with the original box, shipped insured with a track and trace code.
