What is particularly characteristic is the unusually designed, strongly structured stem that fans out radiantly–flower-like at the transition to the cup. In the light, this creates a very beautiful crystalline effect. The combination of the simple, clear cup and the sculpted stem is typical of the modern Rosenthal design of that period.
