Maunder Watch Co are pleased to offer this Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 116506. Introduced in 2013 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cosmograph Daytona, the Ref. 116506 marked the first time Rolex produced the Daytona entirely in platinum. Crafted from 950 platinum, the 40mm case is paired with the model’s distinctive chestnut-brown Cerachrom bezel and Oyster bracelet. The sunburst ice-blue dial, a colour reserved by Rolex for its platinum models, features contrasting brown chronograph counters and applied hour markers, creating one of the most recognisable configurations of the modern Daytona. The watch is powered by Rolex’s self-winding Calibre 4130, with the chronograph displaying elapsed hours, minutes and seconds through its three-register dial layout. This particular example is presented in excellent condition, this example comes complete with its original box and paperwork, dated 2014.
