全部拍賣 / Ethnographic / Roedeer Taxidermy wall mount - Capreolus capreolus - lot...
Take a close look at all the photos. The European roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) is a mammal belonging to the deer family. Living in Europe and Asia Minor where it is very common, it inhabits various temperate environments, including deciduous or mixed forests (deciduous and coniferous). When observing roe deer, one appreciates the diversity of their trophies and sometimes wonders at antlers with unusual shapes. Asymmetric forks, 'wig' antlers, deformed helmets, surplus or missing brow tines… Behind these 'strange heads', which intrigue as much as they fascinate hunters, lie often precisely defined biological explanations. In this regard, Dr. Alain François’s work can provide you with valuable explanations (see the last photo). This is a sample of five trophies of this type that we offer you here. All of these trophies are in perfect condition, with natural color. It is a great pleasure for us to present this unique lot, this exceptional lot to Everyone, here and only here, on Catawiki, at €1 with no reserve price!!!!! Not to be missed!!! Good luck!!! (All our parcels are securely packed with materials specially adapted for this purpose, and sent via Colissimo, with a tracking number provided, no later than the day after your payment, excluding weekends and holidays).
