Founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Ginori, the Ginori manufactory is considered one of the absolute excellences of European porcelain, often compared with the great historic houses such as Meissen, Sèvres, and Royal Copenhagen. The Impero model, together with the historic Colonna and Vecchio Ginori models, represents one of the pillars of Italian table tradition and of high-porcelain production destined for grand residences and elegant dining.
