Revue Thommen Diver Automatic – Ref. 17030.2536 Revue Thommen was founded in Switzerland in 1853 by Gédéon Thommen. The brand began with mechanical watches and its own movements and later developed a strong reputation for precision instruments, including aviation instruments from the 1920s onwards. That technical background is still reflected in the robust and highly functional design of the Diver collection. The Ref. 17030.2536 is one of the more distinctive versions of the Revue Thommen Diver. The deep red dial immediately gives the watch a different character, while the black rubber strap and black diving bezel create a strong contrast. The 45.5 mm stainless steel case makes it a substantial watch with a clear presence on the wrist. Inside is the Swiss Made Sellita SW200 automatic movement with 26 jewels. The movement is protected by a 316L stainless steel case and screw-down case back. The watch has a flat sapphire crystal with a magnifying lens over the date at 3 o’clock. With a water resistance of 30 ATM / 300 metres, the watch is designed with serious diving capability in mind. The unidirectional diving bezel, luminous indexes and hands and screw-down construction all contribute to the functional character of this model. The black rubber strap measures 24 mm and is fitted with a regular buckle.
