The company began producing aircraft instruments in the 1920s, and this technical heritage became an important inspiration for the Airspeed collection. The large, highly legible dials and instrument-style design are directly influenced by aircraft cockpit instruments. The 16071.6837 is one of the more imposing Airspeed models, with a 45 mm stainless steel case and a black rubber strap. The black dial combines luminous Arabic numerals with a tachymeter scale and three chronograph sub-dials. The day and date display is positioned at 3 o’clock, giving the watch both a practical and technical character. The watch is powered by a Swiss automatic chronograph movement with an approximately 38-hour power reserve.
