Rectangular, in red tortoiseshell veneer with Boulle-style brass marquetry. Curved upper section. Dial with enamelled cartouches, one of which is signed ‘Clouzier à Paris’. The back plate is also signed. Single chime. Louis XIV period. Height: 55 cm – Width: 33 cm – Depth: 14 cm (In good overall condition, with some damage, losses, alterations and restoration) Cheloniidae spp. (II/B). Pre-Convention specimen.
