Rare small Fon voodoo fetish with a mobile phone and a watch

Rare, small voodoo fetish of the Pedah/Fon ethnicity Two figures linked back to back, wood, string, blue pigment, 6 padlocks, cowries…. One of the characteristics of Voodoo is its perpetual evolution; nothing is ever fixed, hence the introduction of modern elements into practices and magical objects. A mobile phone, probably a Nokia, and what appears to be a fashion bracelet watch, are integrated into this fetish, giving it considerable power to enter into relation with the one or those with whom one asks it to interact. This object is typically used to make someone who no longer keeps in touch come back. Fetish collected on-site in Benin and guaranteed authentic, used ritually. It is not an object made to be sold.
