Super Rare 1927 A.C. Gilbert Erector No. 10 Set housed in its original oak 9 drawer chest. The case retains its "Gilbert Toys - Erector" decal at the right corner and features brass label holders and pulls. Two of the drawer pulls are loose. Most of the drawers are neatly arranged with an impressive assortment of Erector components, including gears, pulleys, wheels, boiler shells, base plates, and girders, along with several reproduction red part boxes marked "Erector - The World's Greatest Toy." The smaller brown square boxes also appear to be reproduction. There is no Manual of Instructions" present. An extraordinary early presentation example of one of Gilbert's largest pre-Depression sets, seldom encountered in this format. The set has not been collated for completeness and is sold with what is shown. Measures approximately 20.25 x 15.5 x 10.5 inches.
