POPLEA - - I LOVE PARIS XL— by POPLEA (2000)

A pop and joyful celebration of Paris: the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Sacré-Cœur, the Seine, the bateaux-mouches, bridges and terraces unfold in a lush, bustling composition. The recurring little figures bring rhythm, humor and movement to this revisited Parisian landscape. Entirely drawn and painted by hand, the work plays with the energy of contemporary doodle: a bold black line, an immediate read from afar and a multitude of details to discover up close. A graphic piece, luminous and full of character. Signed on the back by "Popléa" and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The canvas is sold rolled, not mounted on a frame. The frame is not included and serves only as a presentation suggestion. The artist Popléa: If you own this work, you hold an authentic piece signed Popléa. But you should know: Popléa is a pseudonym. They have not yet revealed their identity — voluntarily. This choice is part of a broader artistic project, a form of experiment: Create without a name, without status, without biography. The work alone. The image alone. What it evokes. What you feel. The artist behind Popléa is already exhibited, recognized, collected — but wished to explore another path, freer. To refuse filters, codes, discourses. To refuse that it is always the same — galleries, experts, networks — who decide what has value. Perhaps what you own is the beginning of something. Or perhaps it is simply a work that speaks to you, here and now. Both options are beautiful. And deep down, that may be the true luxury. The work is hand-signed, delivered ready to hang, in a 4x4 packaging with insurance included. Happy bidding Recent buyer comments: "Very happy with my purchase! The piece received is magnificent, you can immediately feel the technique and the effort it required. The packaging was particularly careful." "Exceptional packaging for a work that is equally exceptional! Thanks to the artist for this quality work."
