This chip is very discreet: it does not appear on the visible face of the statue and blends naturally with the textured irregularities of the sculpture imitating the bark. The stability of the object is perfect. • The gilding: The gold mirror effect is vibrant and very well preserved. Upon close inspection, minute and very light micro-traces of use are observed (tiny spots or micro-missing gilding localized on the wing reliefs, visible in close-up photos). These surface imperfections are common on these shiny metallic finishes and do not diminish the overall aesthetic of the piece.
