全部拍賣 / Ethnographic / Polished Green Jasper Bowl - Height: 32.5 cm - Width: 16 cm- 2980 g
Polished Green Jasper Bowl – Natural Multicolour Patterning A striking polished Green Jasper bowl, carved to reveal the mineral’s rich natural colour variations and complex internal patterns. The piece displays a predominantly deep forest-green to almost black palette, crossed by broad areas of muted blue-grey, olive green, cream and warm ochre. These contrasting mineral zones flow naturally through the stone, creating an organic, landscape-like composition that changes considerably from one area to another. The elongated oval form has been carefully hollowed and polished into a shallow bowl, allowing the internal patterns of the Jasper to remain clearly visible across both the interior and exterior surfaces. The polished finish enhances the depth of the darker green areas while bringing out the softer bluish and earthy tones. Natural veins, small cavities and irregular mineral formations remain visible in several areas, preserving the geological character of the stone and providing an attractive contrast with the smooth polished surfaces. Particularly interesting is the variation between the two sides: some areas are dominated by dark green and black mineralization, while others reveal lighter blue-grey and ochre zones with subtle banding and natural inclusions. A substantial and highly decorative mineral object, combining the organic character of natural Jasper with a functional sculptural form. Suitable as a display piece, decorative bowl or distinctive addition to a mineral and natural history collection.
