The direct power supply system consists of a small-signal circuit board (equalizer amplifier, flat amplifier) and a large-signal circuit board (power amplifier), each equipped with a dedicated power supply. In addition, interference between amplifier units can be prevented, resulting in improved sound quality. The A-8800X uses a newly developed Super Linear RET (Ring Emitter Transistor).
