Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (UK) – 1975 A-4/B-10 HTM...

A particularly interesting UK Harvest pressing of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, carrying the scarcer A-4 / B-10 matrix combination with HTM etched into the runout. The HTM signature belongs to Harry T. Moss, one of EMI's best-known cutting engineers whose initials appear on numerous important UK pressings from the period. The A-4/B-10 combination is a recognised UK variation and makes this a particularly interesting copy for collectors who pay attention to the mastering history of the album. Issued on Harvest under catalogue number SHVL 814, this 1975 copy also retains one of the most distinctive elements of the original Wish You Were Here presentation: the original black plastic outer shrink, which was originally used to conceal the familiar burning-man artwork beneath. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+): The original sleeve remains in solid VG+ condition. The black plastic outer shrink is still present, though as is commonly encountered with surviving copies, the plastic has contracted with age and has been secured with tape on the rear where it has pulled back. The underlying sleeve is structurally sound and presents well overall. The original illustrated inner sleeve is included. The original postcard is not present. Vinyl (VG+): The record retains a very nice original gloss and remains in solid VG+ condition. There are some light superficial lines and normal signs of previous play, but nothing particularly deep or severe. Overall the vinyl presents very well and remains a strong example of this HTM-cut variation. ⸻ Details * UK Harvest pressing * SHVL 814 * 1975 issue * A-4 / B-10 matrix combination * Harry T.
