PHILIPPINES. First National Congress on Tuberculosis Gilt Bronze Medal, 1926. NGC MS-65. Honeycutt-180-1. Dimensions: 50 x 30 mm. By C. Zamora. Obverse: Four-line inscription "NATIONAL CONGRESS/ ON TUBERCULOSIS/ DEC. 13-18, 1926/ MANILA - P.I.", arms of Manila above surmounted by eagle with outstretched wings, Cross of Lorraine below; Reverse: Blank, stamped "C.ZAMORA" at 12 o'clock. This beautifully preserved example displays a lovely pale gold coloration with intact enamel. The devices are bold and well formed. A handsome example of a type that seldom appears on the market.
