Pelikan M150 Classic – Vintage piston-filling fountain pen – black – green ink window – gold-plated M nib No personal engraving available. ⸻ The black version with green ink window, gold-colored fittings and the characteristic Pelikan clip possesses the typical design of this early M150 series. Equipped with a gold-plated stainless steel nib in nib width M (Medium) and the traditional Pelikan piston-filling system. With a total length of approximately 12.2 cm, the M150 is a compact, classic Pelikan fountain pen. Features Model: Pelikan M150 “Old Style” Period: 1983–1997 Color: Black with green ink window Filling system: Piston filler Nib: Gold-plated stainless steel nib Nib width: M / Medium Length: approximately 12.2 cm Origin: Germany Cap band: “PELIKAN GERMANY” Special feature The diagonally oriented cap ring as well as the single gold ring on the piston knob are characteristic features of the early “Old Style” version. In 1997 the M150 underwent a design overhaul. Transparency note The green ink window still shows ink residues and needs to be cleaned. A corresponding cleaning has not been performed. Conclusion A very beautiful Pelikan M150 Old Style in classic black-gold – compact, timeless, and with traditional Pelikan piston mechanism. Particularly interesting for collectors of early M150 editions. ⸻ Condition * All items come from a collection liquidation * Nibs or ink cartridges may need replacement * Light signs of aging possible Very well-preserved condition. The gilding is fully intact and looks very nice. The fountain pen overall appears unused or only very rarely used. The green ink window still shows ink residues and should be cleaned. Overall a very nice and exceptionally well-preserved specimen. ⸻ Shipping & Handling: Shipping is conducted via the Catawiki-TrustHands system according to guidelines.
