A0000006418 Article: PARKER SONNET fountain pen "PEARL" PGT, body and cap in pearl lacquer ivory white with nacreous shine and pink gold trim, engraved arrow clip, wide central band engraved "PARKER" and nib section in satin rose gold metal, nib engraved to match with "PARKER" decoration Reference / Edition: Sonnet Collection, Pearl Lacquer PGT finish (pink gold trim) Length: 13.3 cm Diameter: 1.1 cm Period: 2010 – 2020 (the Sonnet collection was introduced in 1993/1994; the pearl finish with pink gold trim corresponds to the most recent production of the line) Materials: Brass lacquered in white pearl (nacreous lacquer) over body and cap, trim plated in pink gold (arrow clip, cap lip ring, end pieces and grip section), writing section in satin rose gold colored metal and nib plated to match with engraved decoration and markings "PARKER". Fills via Parker standard cartridge or converter Condition: Very good state of preservation. The pearl lacquer appears homogeneous, bright and without chipping, dents, or exposed brass; only, when backlit and in macro views, very light handling marks and a few tiny spots on the body, consistent with a used piece. The pink gold plating on the clip, central band, end pieces and grip section retains its shine with no noticeable wear or chips. The nib is straight, clean and without deformations or bends at the tips, with the vent and slit centered.
