Paolo Contin - Nostalgico Tramonto

Paolo Contin Nostalgico Tramonto "An explosion of colors that evokes the magic of a sunset where the warm light blends with deep shadows and reflects in suspended atmospheres. Intense reds, bright oranges, vibrant blues and vertical marks come together in a dynamic balance, creating a dialogue between energy and silence, between memory and present. A work that conveys emotion and invites the gaze to wander into its details, like an interior landscape always new " Acrylic on canvas - cm 100 x 100 x 0.1 Certificate of authenticity with date and authentic signature on the back of the canvas. PAOLO CONTIN has developed for over twenty-five years a personal artistic path in continuous evolution. Trained in design and active since 1980 in the fashion world, he transfers to painting a particular sensitivity to color, form and compositional balance. Since 1999 he has exhibited his works and in 2002 held his first solo show in Padua. This has been followed by numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad with appearances in Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney. Paolo Contin's artistic journey is also documented by his inclusion in the Mondadori Art Catalog with related quotations. Over the years his works have also appeared in the Arte Mondadori magazine and in numerous catalogs and volumes produced for solo shows and important Art Fairs, some of which were published with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture. He was also among the founding members of "Tostart", an artistic association born from the meeting of ten Venetian artists and active up to the Pandemic period. An eclectic and independent artist, Contin has built over the years a recognizable language, distant from belonging to a single school or tendency. His research traverses geometric abstraction, material and gestural painting, alternating rigor and expressive freedom. Lines, blocks, geometric shapes and intense chromatic relationships become elements of a vocabulary through which he probes balance, movement and emotion. Experimentation also extends to sculpture and wood, with works built through the overlaying of geometric elements, confirming a research that goes beyond the boundaries of painting alone. His work continues to evolve today without pre-set formulas: each work is born from the desire to preserve freedom, identity and expressive authenticity.
