Abraham Palatnik (1928–2020) – Op Art Owl Figurine – Artemis Collection ​Description: A charming and highly collectible small pocket-sized owl figurine designed by the renowned Brazilian kinetic and Op Art pioneer Abraham Palatnik. Crafted from molded acrylic glass (lucite/perspex) as part of his famous Artemis Collection produced in Brazil. The piece features a striking blue and black patterned interior that creates a brilliant three-dimensional optical effect from different viewing angles. ​Signatures & Labels: Retains the original "Made in Brazil" paper sticker label on the bottom and the stamped "Pal." signature mark near the feet. ​Condition: Very good overall condition. Please note a minor 3 to 4 mm chip at the upper rim of the base, along with some light, faint surface rubbing scratches consistent with age and gentle handling.
