Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada. 2nd Quarter 20th Century. D. W. "Davey" Nichol (1890-1977). This gunning pair of golden eye decoys were on display in the Burchell home. The hen at one point was rigged and possibly hunted over prior to being taken out of service. The drake has the leather line tie but was never hunted over. Unmarked.
