Ottaviani - Bas-relief with raised effect "Maritime landscape with boats" - Silver Plate / Silver Laminate 925 - Italy - Second half of the 20th century Fascinating and evocative vintage piece with a bas-relief in raised work on a silver plate (or 925 silver laminate), created by the renowned Italian company Ottaviani, a Marche excellence known worldwide for its high-quality processing of precious metals. The work depicts a poetic coastal and maritime scene: in the foreground several wooden boats resting on the shore stand out, while in the background fishing nets are laid out to dry, a traditional fishermen's raft, birds in flight, and a stylized moon or sun in the sky. The three-dimensional details and the play of light and shadow typical of bas-relief give great depth and dynamism to the entire composition. The bas-relief bears the original engraved signature of the author "Ottaviani" at the bottom right. The piece is enhanced by an elegant and modern silver mirror-polished tray frame with a dark background, which highlights its shine.
