Originally a jewellery designer, Chevallier created eyewear for fashion houses including Lanvin and Pierre Cardin during the 1960s, before establishing his own brand in 1968. This ECLIPSE_03 belongs to the revival collection introduced by Brando Eyewear in 2017. Developed in collaboration with Chevallier using his original drawings, prototypes and design archives, the collection brings his bold vintage aesthetic into a modern form. This is a revival-era piece, rather than an original pair from the 1960s. The sculptural acetate frame features a distinctive undulating upper rim and a layered, translucent finish. The original label identifies the colour as Olive / Brown; visually, the frame has a soft pale olive/champagne appearance, complemented by brown gradient lenses.
