全部拍賣 / Furniture, Design & Mirrors / original rare large dancer / Danseuse / Tänzerin - Carlier - Sculpture
Hard to find and graceful Art Deco dancer of considerable size on a grand, stepped marble base made of Nero Portoro and white marble. Original piece around 1930–1950. Classic and graceful pose of the dancer, very beautiful in all details with a nice green patina. The figure is a full cast in Zamak, as was common for the time, and was produced in smaller editions. A similar sculpture can be found on the internet for comparison (by typing in “Art Deco skulptur ballerina 1stdibs”). Weight: approx. 5 kg Height: approx. 52 cm Width: approx. 47 cm Depth: approx. 11 cm Worldwide shipping possible in a double box, very well padded and insured over 1000 Euro. The figure must be unscrewed from the marble pedestal for shipping. The shipping information refers to a weight over 20 kg due to complex packaging and insurance, and the weight of the double boxes makes it more expensive, but this ensures the sculpture won’t be damaged. The marble and figure are then packed separately in boxes and sent together in a larger outer box.
