This figurative work depicts an urban view of Paris, interpreted through a highly sensitive chromatic language and a careful synthesis of architectural forms. The composition features a group of buildings of varying heights, with facades in ochre, pink, and whitish tones, sloping roofs of reddish tiles, and numerous chimneys silhouetted against a sky of soft grayish hues. In the foreground, a street is lined with buildings of traditional Parisian architecture, while in the central area, a taller building stands out. Its side facade, illuminated by warm tones, introduces a distinct vertical axis into the composition. The treatment of surfaces with light strokes, dark outlines, and delicate chromatic overlays lends the scene a serene and evocative atmosphere, reminiscent of the tradition of European cityscapes.
