List price = 839€ Developed in 1977 by Vico Magistretti, Atollo has been an icon for many years, one of the most widely recognized symbols in the design world, the archetype of the table lamp that won the Compasso d'Oro in 1979, entering the permanent collections of major museums and completely revolutionizing the way we imagine the classic bedside lamp. The geometric shapes that compose it - the cylinder, the cone and the hemisphere - gave birth to a decorative yet essential product; the hemispherical shade directs the light downward onto the surface of the desk, creating an indirect and pleasant accent in the environment. Atollo 238, the small-sized version of the family, is made of metal with a Black finish, and has direct and reflected light emission. Iconic.
