Off Axis - Purple Grace – 1/1 – XL

Purple Grace by Off Axis – Unique Original Work 1/1 XL – Artist's Proof (EA) From behind, she does not seek the gaze. Yet she imposes her presence. In the half-light of an almost pictorial setting, a ballerina stands en pointe, captured in a moment of absolute calm. Her deep violet dress catches the light and contrasts with the dark tones that surround her. The precision of her posture meets the delicacy of the movement, while her turned-away face preserves a part of mystery. Purple Grace explores this boundary between discipline and sensuality, physical power and fragility. The body becomes a line, balance and light, in a composition where the elegance of ballet dialogues with the intimate atmosphere of a classic portrait. An artwork built around silent grace: the kind that captivates without requiring dramatic movement or a frontal gaze. ⸻ Artwork details: • Title: Purple Grace • Format: XL – 46 × 66 cm • Additional white border of 3 cm included • Edition: Original unique work 1/1 – Artist's Proof (EA), from a limited series of 6 copies • Technique: Digital creation combining AI, digital painting, visual composition and manual retouching with Adobe Photoshop on a graphic tablet • Authenticity: Certificate provided exclusively by email ⸻ Artistic and technical approach: The composition rests on a strong vertical construction, emphasized by the crossed legs and the ballerina’s pointe position. The violet tutu creates the true visual impact point: its satin texture and numerous folds subtly catch the light at the heart of a deliberately darkened environment. The treatment of the background, textured and almost abstract, recalls the material of traditional painting while isolating the character. The nuances of brown, deep green and black allow the skin tones and the intense violet to stand out even more. Off Axis plays here with the codes of the classical dance portrait while giving them a more contemporary, intimate and cinematic dimension. ⸻ Presentation and delivery: • Printed on premium canvas • Artwork sold unframed and unstretched • Secured shipment in a rigid tube • Certificate of authenticity sent exclusively by email ⸻ About the artist – Off Axis: Off Axis develops a visual universe blending contemporary emotion, pictorial influences, and immersive compositions.
