This is the steel version, with the case kept in its natural color and a finish that alternates glossy and brushed surfaces, for a clearer and more classic look compared to the plated versions. The dial is black with a glossy finish: light passes through it and changes its depth with every movement of the wrist. The applied indices are all luminescent, as are the hands, for immediate readability even underwater and in the dark. The bezel insert is steel, not aluminum: it resists scratches, does not fade, and ages with the case rather than before the case. The dual glossy and bead-blasted finish makes it legible in any lighting condition. From the exhibition case back one observes the Japanese automatic movement in action, with the Norton-custom rotor that winds with every wrist movement.
