全部拍賣 / Carpets, Rugs & Textile / No Reserve - Vintage Kars Carpet, Eastern Turkey - 10 ft 4 in x 6
Curated collection of antique, vintage and modern rugs No Reserve - Vintage Kars Carpet, Eastern Turkey Size: 10 ft 4 in x 6 ft 7 in (3.15 m x 2.01 m) Provenance: Property of a Boston dealer A generously proportioned vintage Kars carpet displaying the bold geometry and tactile wool associated with eastern Anatolian weaving. Influenced by both Turkish and Caucasian traditions, Kars carpets frequently reinterpret established Kazak and Anatolian motifs through broader drawing and a relaxed use of color. The result is a visually strong but approachable carpet with considerable decorative versatility. Its useful dimensions make it particularly appropriate for a library, bedroom, sitting room, or central seating arrangement. It offers the warmth and individuality of handwoven village production in a format that can be incorporated easily into a modern interior. Condition Request Condition Report Lot #447 is in very good condition. The pile is full and even, with no visible signs of wear. All sides are complete and securely finished.
