NO RESERVE PRICE - Stunning set of 3 rare Red Petrified...

Wonderful set of 3 spheres of Rare Red petrified wood on a custom stand. A beautiful set of 3 Red petrified wood is a type of fossilized wood that has undergone a process called petrification, where the organic material is replaced by minerals, typically silica. Petrified wood forms when fallen trees or branches are buried under sediment or volcanic ash and over time, the organic matter slowly decays and is replaced by minerals, resulting in a fossilized representation of the original wood. The red color in petrified wood can occur due to various factors. Iron oxides or other minerals present during the petrification process can contribute to the red hues. The intensity and shade of red can vary, ranging from pale pink to deep red or even reddish-brown.
