Special vintage necklace by the Danish silversmith Niels Erik From, executed in sterling silver. The necklace features a fixed integrated centerpiece in an organic, triangular shape. The design combines smooth polished silver surfaces with deeper, pleated and textured areas, creating a strong relief and a beautiful contrast. An extra organic element runs over the central section, which was originally gold-plated. This gilding has worn away partially through use and is now mostly visible only in places. The centerpiece forms a single unit with the necklace and cannot be removed. The necklace itself has a delicate, chain of about 1.3 mm in width. Both the necklace and the centerpiece are hallmarked. The necklace bears FROM 925 and the central element is stamped FROM 925S, in line with Niels Erik From sterling silver. The necklace has a length of about 41 cm. Due to the shape of the central element, the lowest point when worn sits slightly lower.
