Vintage silver pendant by the Swedish silversmith Bengt Hallberg, made in sterling silver and set with a striking large faceted rock crystal. At the center is a round rock crystal of about 16 mm diameter, open and set high so that light can pass well through the stone. The sturdy, architectural mounting runs around the stone and is built from open-work and vertical elements. A simple design, but due to the size of the stone and the substantial setting, still quite present. On the back the pendant is clearly stamped with BEH and 925S, the master mark of Bengt Hallberg and the grade for sterling silver. The pendant is offered on a modern silver necklace with flat oval links. This chain is not original to the pendant, but by its length of about 70 cm makes a nice combination that allows the pendant to be worn lower on the chest.
