icole Lubbers is a Dutch visual artist from the eastern part of the country. She is known for her innovative and quirky approach to art and works with various styles, techniques and forms of imagery. In her work color, movement, expression and emotion play an important role. Themes such as resilience, strength, transformation and overcoming challenges regularly inspire her creations. Her international career has developed strongly in recent years. Lubbers was proclaimed Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro and achieved second place at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. In addition, she was listed among the 100 best female artists in the world and recognized as a Master in Art. Internationally, her work has been seen and planned for exhibitions in New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China and Montecosaro, in addition to exhibitions in Dutch galleries. A particular highlight is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. In addition, Nicole together with artist Michael Lam presents the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision. Two different artistic worlds come together and form a joint dialogue around movement, color, creativity and transformation. Nicole Lubbers's work is more than just a visual image. This margin is necessary to fold and secure the fabric well around the stretcher.
