Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo (Dine). A Germantown wool blanket in the "Eye Dazzler" style, woven with concentric serrated diamonds radiating from the center and flanked by zigzag lightning bands in red, gold, sage green, dark maroon, and cream, with small cross and stepped motifs scattered across the field. Germantown wool, commercially spun and aniline-dyed, was widely used by Navajo weavers beginning in the late 19th century, enabling the bold, saturated colors and intricate serrate patterning characteristic of the Eye Dazzler style. Fringed selvage edges throughout. Item # 204013
