全部拍賣 / Ethnographic / Natural ruby in fuchsite sphere – a rare color...
This extraordinary sphere of ruby in fuchsite brings together two distinctive minerals in a highly contrasting and rare combination. The vibrant green base mass consists of fuchsite, a chromium-containing variety of muscovite, which gives the stone its fresh, almost living color impression. Embedded within are numerous rubies in bold pink to purple hues, partly clearly delineated, partly softly embedded into the surrounding rock. Some of these inclusions present themselves in well-recognizable crystalline structures, which adds depth and character to the sphere. The highly polished surface brings the natural play of color out especially intensely: the interplay of rich green, warm yellowish tones, and the striking ruby inclusions creates a lively, almost mosaic-like appearance. Depending on the viewing angle, new details emerge, giving the sphere a dynamic and fascinating aura. Ruby in fuchsite is among the more coveted combination stones, as it represents a special connection both optically and mineralogically. The harmonious fusion of bold colors and natural texture makes this piece a striking focal point with unmistakable character.
