Natural amethyst crystal cathedral with calcite crystal...

This extraordinary Amethyst crystal cathedral from Uruguay is an impressive work of natural art. Inside the opened geode, a dense crystal landscape unfolds in intensely purple amethyst, its center shaped by a distinctive light calcite crystal. Particularly fascinating is the strong contrast between the deep purple amethyst crystals and the cream-white calcite. The amethyst druse shows different shades of violet – from bright lilac in the outer areas to darker, rich tones inside. The numerous crystal tips reflect light from different angles, creating an impressive sparkle. The centrally grown calcite forms the optical centerpiece of the cathedral. Its clearly larger, light crystal faces stand out exceptionally beautifully from the fine-crystalline amethyst structure, lending this specimen a especially individual character. The natural agate and rock layers at the edge of the geode are also clearly visible and vividly demonstrate the layered structure of this mineral. The dark natural outer structure provides an effective frame for the glowing crystal interior. An extraordinary collector’s piece from Uruguay that unites amethyst, calcite, and natural geode structure in a single specimen. Due to the individual crystal formation, this Amethyst Cathedral is a true one-of-a-kind and is ideally suited as an exclusive display piece for discerning mineral lovers and collectors.
