Fascinating Japanese Sankyo vintage jewelry box with a classic, timeless design. An item that combines the functionality of a jewelry case with the magic of a music box. Details of the piece: Exterior: The box presents a refined black lacquer finish, embellished with delicate gold floral motifs painted at the corners. The front is enriched by a metal-shaped and decorative lock mouth (key not present). The box rests on four elegant feet. Interior: By lifting the lid, a lively and romantic interior revealed in deep red velvet, divided into three practical compartments. The Magic of the Music Box: At the center of the main compartment stands a lovely miniature ballerina. The back of the lid is lined with a series of curved vertical mirrors that create a beautiful optical effect, multiplying the image of the dancing ballerina. The winding mechanism is activated by the special key located on the bottom of the box.
