Entirely handmade in Murano, this necklace embodies all the passion of Venetian red in a heart sculpted by flame. The heart, in transparent deep red glass, is lamp-worked and decorated with elegant swirls and raised scrolls, applied by hand one by one in the same red, in a refined tone-on-tone effect. Tiny dots soften its silhouette. When struck by light, the glass glows and reveals all the depth of its color. On the sides, two pairs of clear crystal pearls with a soft shape enclose a sunken gold leaf, which shines with warm, precious reflections. The strand of glossy black seed beads frames it and creates an elegant contrast with the red and gold. Even the clasp is part of the jewel: a button of ruby-red glass, decorated with the same swirls as the heart, hooks to a loop of black seed beads. It’s a traditional solution with no metal parts, making the necklace beautiful to look at even from the back.
