全部拍賣 / Miscellaneous / Murano glass, 24 kt gold submerged - Necklace - Golden Carnival
Made entirely by hand in Murano, this necklace celebrates two great Venetian glass traditions: the glow of submerged gold and the cheerfulness of color. At the center, a lens-shaped glass medallion worked by lampwork encloses a band of submerged gold leaf, framed by a white hazelnut-like background. The surface blends dots and patches of colored glass: red, orange, emerald green, acid green, turquoise, blue, cobalt blue, yellow, and amber. Where they meet gold, the colors flare with reflections. On the white, they soften into gentler tones. A layer of clear crystal surrounds each bead, giving depth and luster. To the sides, two spherical beads with the same decoration echo the medallion motif. They are finished with gold-toned flower caps and accompanied by faceted crystals in green, turquoise, and pink. The gold-colored seed bead thread ties everything together discreetly and makes the beads stand out. The lobster clasp with a extender chain allows length adjustment. Each piece is unique: the arrangement of the dots, the color nuances, and the gold weave vary from piece to piece. Small bubbles and irregularities in the glass are marks of artisanal craftsmanship, not defects. Details Technique: lampworked glass on a hazelnut base, with submerged gold leaf and dot decoration. Length: about 48 cm, adjustable with the extender chain (princess length, falls on the collarbones). Central medallion: about 4 × 4 × 1.5 cm. Side beads: diameter about 2.5 cm. Finishes: gold-colored seed beads, faceted crystals, gold-toned metal closures and caps. The necklace arrives in an elegant rigid jewelry box with a black velvet interior, ready for gifting. It comes with a certificate of originality, attesting to the artisanal Murano glass craftsmanship. Fast shipping, with careful and secure packaging.
