Murano - Bowl (4) - Glass - Ballarin Murano Collection

A beautiful and harmonious four-piece collection of hand-blown Italian art glass, originating from the renowned glass house Vetrerie Ballarin on the island of Murano, Italy. All four objects are crafted according to the intricate Venetian filigree technique, characterized by alternating bands of deep cobalt blue glass and extremely detailed white-filigree zanfirico / merletto network canes. The lot consists of a generous centerpiece bowl, an organically shaped leaf-shaped dish, an elegant ribbed/ruffled bowl, and a footed coupe. The footed coupe stands out further due to the refined inlay of gold powder (avventurina) in the twisted stem and the spiral foot. Two of the bowls still carry the original label paper from Vetrerie Ballarin with the iconic Venetian lion, which guarantees authenticity and origin. 3 Items (Large bowl, leaf-shaped dish & ribbed bowl): In excellent, pristine condition without chips, cracks or restorations. The glass has a beautiful sheen. 1 Item (Coupe on foot): Has undergone an old restoration. The stem was broken in the past and re-glued. The break line is visible in the stem segment, but the glue is solid and the piece sits upright. Full transparency about this damage is included in the offer.
