Stunning original Art Deco champagne cooler, from the 1930s, made for the house "MORLANT" that disappeared in the 1950s, a piece of champagne history. This cooler features a raised plaque, with the inscription in white enamel: CHAMPAGNE MORLANT (Reims), and also features beautifully crafted handles in the shape of grape clusters. Heavy professional-grade cooler (1.382 kg!) Bottom bears a stamp placed by the maker: ANDRÉ LEROY T.L. made in France The material is chrome-plated or nickel-plated copper. An original, honest old piece from the 1930s, with character, history and age, in very good condition. Hardly found anymore, making it a true collectors item!
