Dieser aussergewöhnlich große und seltene Teheran-Teppich zeichnet sich durch ein indigoblaues Mittelfeld aus, das mit einem Allover-Muster aus weinroten Schlingen und floralen Motiven durchgemustert ist. Zum dunkelblauen Mittelfeld kontrastiert die hellrote Hauptbordüre mit floralem Wellenmuster, die von zwei schmalen, weissen Blütenborten eingesäumt ist. Prächtige und signierte Knüpfarbeit aus hochwertiger, seidig glänzender Wolle und leuchtenden Naturfarben. Dem Alter entsprechend in sehr gutem Zustand. This exceptionally large and rare Tehran carpet is characterised by an indigo-blue central field, which is interwoven with an all-over pattern of wine-red loops and floral motifs. The dark blue central field is contrasted by a light red main border with a floral wave pattern, edged by two narrow white floral borders.
