全部拍賣 / Lighting / Montblanc - Writers Edition F. Scott Fitzger - Fountain pen
A0000004793 The Montblanc Writers Edition F. Scott Fitzgerald Limited Edition fountain pen is presented in very good overall condition, maintaining all the elegance and presence characteristic of one of the brand's most cherished literary editions. The body, crafted in ivory/cream marbled resin, preserves a uniform and attractive appearance, with a soft, refined sheen. It shows ultra-light superficial micro-scratches derived from occasional use and the passage of time, only noticeable under close inspection. No cracks, fissures, or dings are observed, maintaining excellent structural and aesthetic integrity. The cap in glossy black resin maintains a deep, uniform finish. The signature “F. Scott Fitzgerald” engraved on the side is perfectly visible and defined, reinforcing the collectible appeal of this Writers Edition. The rings and clip with a platinum finish are in good overall condition, retaining their original shape and shine, with barely perceptible cosmetic wear appropriate to careful conservation. The pen also preserves its individual engraved serial number on the cap, corresponding to the limited edition, a feature highly valued by collectors of the Montblanc Writers Edition series. The original Montblanc nib, solid 18K gold two-tone (750), is in excellent structural condition, correctly aligned and without visible deformities. The engravings “4810”, “18K / 750”, the Montblanc emblem, and the Art Deco decoration characteristic of this edition inspired by the aesthetics of the twenties are clearly legible. The feed is clean and correctly adjusted, ensuring optimal operation. The piston-filling system works smoothly and reliably, having been inspected to ensure a fully functional writing experience. The cap closure engages precisely and securely. The item also includes its original Montblanc box and service/international documentation, elements that notably increase its commercial and collectible value. Conclusion Overall, this is an original, authentic piece in very good condition, ideal for both collectors of the Writers Edition series and enthusiasts of high-end writing seeking an iconic fountain pen inspired by the literary and aesthetic universe of F. Scott Fitzgerald. Conservation recommendations Use high-quality inks specifically intended for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks or those with aggressive drying properties. If the pen will not be used for an extended period, it is advisable to clean the system with lukewarm water and dry it completely before storage. Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system gently to preserve the internal mechanism. Includes original Montblanc box and documentation. Happy bidding!
