A0000005821 Article: MONTBLANC SAFETY FOUNTAIN PEN No. 00 "BABY", miniature of black hard rubber (ebonite) from the 1920s, cap engraved "MONTBLANC" with ivory star on the cap end, gold ring, knurled safety button at the end; nib made of 14K gold engraved "SIMPLO 14K" with the star (the signature used to be Simplo Filler Pen Co. before adopting the Montblanc name) Reference / Edition: Safety No. 00 (double zero, the smallest size from the house; collectors call it "Baby") Filling system: Safety (eye-dropper with retractable nib) Nib: Solid 14K gold Simplo, point not confirmed Length: 6.3 cm (closed) Diameter: 0.6 cm Materials: Black ebonite, gold ring, 14K gold nib Period: 1920s (Germany) Condition: Good condition for its age: ebonite with the usual brown patina (even discoloration), legible cap engraving, ivory star complete, nib undamaged; safety mechanism not tested with ink Accessories: Comes with an old cardboard box (not the original Montblanc box)
