Montblanc - Meisterstück "Hommage à Wolfgang Amadeus...

We present at auction an authentic gem for collectors, music and writing lovers signed Montblanc: the prestigious Meisterstück fountain pen “Hommage à Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.” This model (known to collectors as 114), famous for its delightful compact pocket- or bag-sized dimensions, stands as an elegant tribute to the genius of the celebrated Austrian composer, marrying meticulous proportions with the unmistakable luxury of the maison. The body and cap are masterfully crafted in traditional, precious black Montblanc resin, enhanced by the classic bright gold-plated finishes. The triple central ring is finely engraved with the brand name, and at the top of the cap dominates the ever-present emblem of the white star. The pocketable design has been expertly studied to ensure maximum comfort: the screw cap can be conveniently screwed onto the barrel end, allowing the pen to achieve optimal proportions and ergonomics for a perfect writing experience. The beating heart of this extraordinary instrument is the magnificent solid gold nib, finely handcrafted and enriched with the traditional engravings of the maison. Technically, the fountain pen is designed for practical, clean use with ink cartridges, a mechanical choice essential and functional given its elegant reduced proportions. The photographs confirm the total cleanliness and integrity of the nib block and feed. The conservation status of this exemplar is exceptional, to be considered as virtually new. The item appears untouched: the resin is perfectly glossy, mirrored, and free of any signs of wear; the gilding is bright and intact, evidence of a piece never used or kept with museum-grade care. In keeping with our usual and rigorous policy of total transparency, we confirm the absolute absence of defects, scratches, or personalized engravings. To further enhance and complete this lot in an extraordinary manner, the fountain pen is offered in its exclusive original collection packaging. Included is the special square presentation box “Hommage à Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart,” inside which, in addition to the pen and its soft protective fabric sleeve, lies the original CD “Amadeus” (conducted by Sir Neville Marriner) that accompanies and characterizes this special edition. An unmissable opportunity to acquire a true jewel of elegant pocketable engineering.
